Job Purpose

The main purpose of the job is to manage the receiving by the business of all trading stock delivered to the premises by suppliers or their agents or company staff as well as returns of goods by customers in accordance with the systems established by the company.

Requirements

1. Grade 12
2. 1 years’ experience in a similar role
3. Pick stock in a distribution centre
4. Move, pack and maintain stock
5. Receive stock into a distribution centre
6. Count stock for a stock-take
7. Dispatch stock from a distribution centre
8. Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

1. Stock receiving
2. Obtain Delivery Notes
3. Match delivery notes to order forms
4. Monitor stock
5. Locating, binning and displaying of Stock
6. Report on Damaged Stock
7. Obtain delivery notes
8. Monitor Delivering of Stock
9. Ensure that goods are correctly priced
10. Manage Buyouts
11. Manage Returned goods
12. Stock labelling and Binning
13. Housekeeping
14. To uphold and promote the company values and culture
