Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment on property valuation reports from external/private valuers. Undertake valuations according to valuation standards and principles. Facilitate negotiations on price offered by sellers. Inspect properties and to take property measurements

Knowledge

1. Knowledge of processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.
2. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
3. Understanding of rural development programmes, including mandates of the department. Detailed knowledge of factors that can affect property prices.
4. Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules and the democratic political process.
